12KBW is proud to congratulate Patrick Kerr of 12 King’s Bench Walk on being awarded an MBE for services to charity and cancer research. Patrick was honoured in the New Year’s Honours List 2026.
Patrick co-founded and helps run Le Cure, a charity which funds cancer research fellowships at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
Every August their fundraising cycle event, Le Cure de France, sees ‘Curistas’ take on some of the Tour de France’s toughest climbs in the French Alps over four gruelling days. So far Le Cure has raised over £3.3 million for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity and created six Le Cure research fellowships.
Patrick has participated in Le Cure France every year since he co-founded the charity in 2014, cycling 133,888 vertical meters or 4,754 kilometers.
Le Cure co-founders, Anthony Butler and Marianne de Beristain Humphrey, were also recognised with MBE’s in the Honours List.
