Chronic pain and psychiatry: hype, hope and facts is a meeting at the Royal Society of Medicine which will focus on identifying the psychological factors contributing to chronic pain. Delegates should attend this meeting to be able to use broader treatment approaches to chronic pain as well as feel more confident in addressing psychological and pharmacological aspects of pain management.
