The Bar Council is made up of around 115 barristers who are elected or appointed to represent the Inns, circuits and specialist Bar associations.

Catherine was the Personal Injury Bar Association’s sponsored candidate and has been co-opted onto the PIBA Executive Committee. She will take up this three-year voluntary post from 1 January 2027 whilst continuing her practice at 12KBW as a barrister and mediator.
