Ben Sundborg

Ben is a Senior Practice Manager at 12KBW.  He began clerking in 1996 at Hailsham Chambers before joining Farrar’s Building in 1998. In 2001 Ben joined 39 Essex Chambers where he spent the next 22 years, including nearly 18 years as Senior Practice Manager to the Civil Liability Group managing and developing the practices of barristers specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence. He also established their abuse and sports law work and helped regenerate their Costs Group. Ben furthered his experience at Cloth Fair Chambers before joining 12KBW in 2024.

Ben’s primary responsibilities are business development and practice management, with a focus on employment, costs and personal injury. He works closely with Oliver Parkhouse, Director of Clerking, and the other Senior Practice Managers in leading the clerking team.
