Daniel Sokol of 12KBW has authored From Error to Ethics: Five Essential Lessons from Teaching Clinicians in Trouble, a practical guide for clinicians who wish to avoid disciplinary action for breach of ethics. Drawing from his extensive experience providing ethico-legal training, this book offers insights for medical professionals, regulatory lawyers, and others working at the intersection of healthcare and professional discipline.
In his Foreword, Charles Bryan, Heyward Gibbes Distinguished Professor of Internal Medicine Emeritus at the University of South Carolina in Columbia, calls the book ‘a small gem worthy of every clinician’s bedside library’.
The book was funded by the Berry Trust, a healthcare charity, and contains 100 aphorisms from the works of Sir William Osler (1849-1919). Daniel, who is the current President of the Osler Club of London, is recognised as an authority on Osler.
Daniel is a specialist clinical negligence counsel. Find out more on his 12KBW profile here.
