JM (a protected party). Motorist with accident from mud on highway resulting in serious brain damage. Acting for Claimant. Settled at JSM for net amount of £2.5M.

AN (deceased). Claim brought in clinical negligence and under Human Rights Act 1998. Acting for Claimant suffering profound psychiatric injury after witnessing wife’s life support machine being turned off, without hospital following correct procedure. 6 figure settlement reached at mediation and apology obtained from Hospital Trust, since altering procedures in light of the case brought.

DC (deceased). High-value fatal accident, clinical negligence claim. Claimant dying following emergency liver transplant surgery and with acute liver failure, resulting in multiple organ failure, following negligent prescription of Methotrexate and Leflunomide, without adequate monitoring and supervision. Settled at mediation

RH (deceased). High Court trial on behalf of deceased that died as a result of a delay in the diagnosis of cervical cancer.

AJ. Claimant suffering delay in diagnosis of Charcot’s foot at her right foot that has caused ongoing effects. Consideration in addition of subsequent fracture dislocation of the left ankle that involved attempted fusion surgery and amputation of the left fourth toe. The effects of the negligence including permanent deformity at the right foot and mid-foot collapse and persistent problems in respect of mobility, amenity and upon future employment.
