Polina Sokolovska
Polina began pupillage in October 2026. She is interested in gaining experience in all core areas of Chambers’ practice, with a particular focus on personal injury, clinical negligence, and cross-border and military claims.
Prior to pupillage, Polina assisted a personal injury silk with catastrophic injury claims relating to amputations, brain injuries, spinal cord injuries and fatal accidents. She worked on three chapters of Bingham’s Personal Injury and Motor Claims Cases (16th edition) and co-authored an article on medical tourism and Package Travel Regulations that was published in the Journal of Personal Injury Law (Issue 3, 2024).
Polina also worked on high-value clinical negligence claims as a Senior Paralegal at Stewarts and represented clients in small claims road traffic accident cases as a County Court Advocate at Quest Legal Advocates. She was recently awarded the Knights Award in recognition of her contribution to Middle Temple’s work for junior members while serving as Pre Pupillage Officer of the Middle Temple Young Barristers’ Association.
Polina completed her undergraduate degree in Law at the University of Warwick and her Masters degree in Law at University College London. Supported by scholarships from Middle Temple and BPP University, she completed the Bar Course with Distinction and was awarded the Middle Temple Certificate of Honour for her results.
In her spare time, Polina enjoys dancing, improvised acting and travelling. She has recently taken an interest in sports and is currently training for her second Hyrox competition.
