Daniel Millar

Daniel joined Chambers in October 2026 following the successful completion of his pupillage under the supervision of Thomas Banks, Charlotte Reynolds and Elizabeth Boulden.

He is interested in all core areas of Chambers’ practice, and gained experience of personal injury, clinical negligence, industrial disease and credit hire work during pupillage.

Daniel has an active court practice and is regularly instructed in liability and quantum trials and disposals, as well as a variety of interim hearings. He has a growing paperwork practice and accepts instructions for claimants and defendants.

Prior to pupillage, Daniel worked as a County Court Advocate, representing clients in over 850 hearings. He also managed a charity supporting prisoners with civil law issues.

Daniel graduated from his undergraduate degree in International Relations with First Class Honours, before obtaining distinctions in the MA Law conversion course and the LLM Bar Practice, the latter supported by a scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys a wide range of music, long urban walks, and downhill and cross-country skiing. He has completed two ski marathons so far.
