Daniel Millar

Daniel began pupillage in October 2025. He is interested in gaining experience in all core areas of Chambers’ practice and has particular interest in personal injury, industrial disease, military claims, and costs.

Before pupillage, Daniel worked as a County Court Advocate, representing clients in over 850 hearings, including a variety of small claims track trials and interim hearings. He also worked as an Advocacy Manager, providing guidance to Advocates and training to clients, and resolving queries and complaints.

Previously, Daniel was a Legal Analyst assisting with a compensation scheme, and managed Intervene Project, a charity supporting prisoners with civil law issues.

Daniel graduated from his undergraduate degree in International Relations with First Class Honours, before obtaining distinctions in the MA Law conversion course and the LLM Bar Practice, the latter supported by a scholarship from Lincoln’s Inn.

In his spare time, Daniel enjoys a wide range of music, long urban walks, and downhill and cross-country skiing. He has completed two ski marathons so far.
