Charlotte Buck
Charlotte is interested in all core areas of Chambers’ practice, with a particular interest in personal injury, clinical negligence, sport, and inquests.
Before pupillage, Charlotte worked in international subrogated recoveries, where she negotiated high-value settlements on behalf of insurers. She also worked as a Serious Injury Paralegal at Slater & Gordon Lawyers, where she gained experience on intermediary/multi-track cases often with complex medical and legal issues, including surveillance and fundamental dishonesty.
Charlotte read Law at the University of Leicester before completing an MA in Medical Law at King’s College London whilst working full-time. During university, she furthered her medical knowledge by volunteering at the Royal Derby Hospital as part of a BBC2 documentary. She undertook the BPC supported by scholarships from the Inner Temple.
Charlotte served as President of the Inner Temple Drama Society, co-writing a sold-out show for the Edinburgh Fringe.
