The 12KBW Pupillage Committee is delighted to publish their 2024 pupillage report, which provides an overview of the 2024 pupillage competition, including selection criteria, incorporation of RARE data (used to take into account social and economic disadvantages), and diversity data and targets. It is hoped the report will be of use to pupillage candidates thinking of applying to 12KBW.
12KBW is committed to equal opportunities, diversity and inclusion and we hope by demonstrating our focus on merit and merit alone we encourage applicants of all backgrounds, irrespective of social/economic disadvantage, disability, race, sex, sexual orientation, age or religion to apply for pupillage at 12KBW. We encourage applications from those with non-traditional backgrounds, ethnic minority candidates, and who are currently under-represented at the bar.
12KBW will be hosting a Pupillage Open Evening at the start of 2025. This will be an opportunity for potential applicants to meet members of Chambers and hear them discuss their practice areas and life at the Bar. Further details of the event will be published on our events page nearer the time.
